What to expect at Revamp
Step 1: Assessment and planning
Your recovery will start with a complete assessment of your injuries and overall health. You’ll also be advised to see one of our specially trained physiotherapists to check for signs of a concussion or vestibular damage.
Step 2: Reducing your symptoms
At the beginning of your treatment, we’ll use gentle treatments to calm your nervous system and reduce any symptoms of aggravation in your body.
Step 3: Healing at the source
From there, you’ll work with our RMTs, chiropractors, and physiotherapists to deeply and thoroughly address the underlying causes of your discomfort.
Step 4: Rebuilding your strength
As your healing progresses, you may start to feel like it’s plateaued. That’s the crucial point where we transition you from recovery to active rehabilitation, working with you to redevelop your strength and mobility.
ICBC Accident Benefits FAQs
Yup! For convenience and better healing, ICBC allows you to receive different treatments on the same day (i.e. physio, chiro, massage, and active rehab in a single day).
ICBC only allows one treatment of the same service per day.
“No shows” or last-minute cancellations must be paid for by the patient. Until these are paid for, the patient’s therapist has the right to cancel all further appointments.
I don’t feel fully recovered yet. Will ICBC pay for more treatments if I submit another assessment and treatment plan?
ICBC won’t pay for any amount over the approved treatment limits. You may be able to submit claims for additional coverage if you have an extended medical plan.
Unfortunately, if you have an open claim with ICBC we’re unable to bill your extended medical provider on your behalf.
