Plantar Fasciitis
Inflammation of the plantar fascia, the connective tissue on the bottom of the foot. Usually pain occurs in the heel.
Achilles Tendinopathy
Inflammations of the Achilles tendon. Generally an overuse injury.
Patellar Tendonitis (Jumpers Knee)
Inflamed patellar tendon. This is the tendon right below your knee cap. Patellar tendonitis is common in teenagers and adults who areheavily into sports with a significant amount of jumping. Ie. Basketball, volleyball.
Trigger Points
A nodule within a muscle of fascia that if pressed can cause referral pain to other areas of the body.
Bursitis
A bursa is a fluid filled sac that helps to protect your bone, bursitis is when this bursa gets inflamed.
Hallux Rigidus
Painful and stiff big toe.
Tendonitis
Inflamed tendon, usually caused by overuse or injury.
Scar Tissue
Fibrous tissue that has healed over an injured area, it is more dense andcan cause movement restrictions.
Adhesive Capsulitis (Frozen Shoulder)
Inflamed shoulder joint that is leading to pain and severe stiffness.
Tennis Elbow
Pain on the outside of your elbow, caused by overuse. Can cause forearm pain, weakened grip strength and wrist pain.
Golfers Elbow
Pain on the inside of your elbow, caused by overuse. Can cause forearm pain, weakened grip strength and wrist pain.
Heel Spurs
Are calcium deposits on the bottom of the heel bone. Can be caused byplantar fasciitis, tight feet muscles or overuse. (running)
Medial Tibialis Stress Syndrome (Shin Splints)
Inflammation along the bone where the tibialis anterior muscle attaches to. Overuse injury, often in runners or track athletes.
Stress Fractures
Tiny fractures (cracks) in the bone. Overuse injury, generally to the foot caused by repetitive force.
